With Teamwork, Universal Preschool will Prevail

We are three weeks away from June 2005 - the time for all Californians to show their support for state-funded universal preschool. This is a vital moment in the history of California, a time for every Californian to decide the best for our pre-school aged children.

The NAACP’s outreach campaign for universal preschool reveals that the African American community strongly supports state-funded universal preschool.

For this universal preschool program to succeed, parents, teachers, law enforcement officers, policymakers, faith leaders, and the whole community, regardless of age, race, political, and economic affiliations, must come together as a team and support universal preschool. With teamwork, universal preschool will prevail.
